Nothing is worse for an avid reader and a lover of books than having a child who hates to read. Reading to a child early in life will help them foster a love of reading and prepare them to read themselves, but sometimes not even that can be enough to foster a love of the written word. Reading parents know that aversion to reading will haunt their child for the rest of his life, making school harder making the rest of their life harder.

When it comes to animation films only two names come to mind – Walt Disney and Hayao Miyazaki. The latter has made some really good animated movies like “Spirited Away” and “Princess Mononoke”. So much was expected from Ponyo. However, the film is a big letdown. The kids might like the film as it is an anime but the adults will straight away reject it. The plot has no character and there is not a single wherein the film can earn some real good points.
