Mom and Dad’s 50th Anniversary Gift

One of the gifts I gave Mom and Dad for their 50th Anniversary back in 2004. They eloped when Mom was 16 and Dad was 18. Dad actually climbed up to her bedroom window to get her. He was in the military and leaving for France, but they wanted to be married before he left. They will be together 56 years in June. Good people… You don’t realize how lucky you are when you are young. Some people never do I guess. But I have, and I will always be grateful for that.
