And yes, there is still the faint smell of revolution hanging over everything – this is after all the city where the revolution is supposed to have been born.

Camaguey is Cuba’s third largest city – and also its most difficult to navigate. This is not by chance – the crazy maze of narrow streets were planned that way to put off pirates and robbers. This makes for an interesting city though. Combined with numerous beautiful parks, a market garden and many art galleries Camaguey is well worth a few days of exploring.

Trinidad is a must-see for anyone visiting Cuba. It is widely regarded as being one of the most beautiful colonial cities in Cuba. There are also many great beaches in the area where you can relax after a night of partying in one of the numerous live music venues.
